Change Windows 7 Default Folder icon

Ever had a problem with Icons in Windows...?
Here is some solution for you.

You can either change your default folder icon or reset to normal one that has been changed by any other software.

There are two ways to do it. A simpler one and a technical one.
If you are a naive user and not ready to take risks, you may prefer the simpler one. Those who love to get more technical can go with second one which is a bit risky and tedious way.

Method One :

Step 1:

Download Icon Viewer software for windows 7 and install it.
Download Link :
Icon Viewer (Alternate link - Icon Viewer)

Step 2:

Go to -> C:\Windows\System32
Right click on imageres.dll file and select properties.

Step 3:

Go to icons tab in it, select the icon you wish to make as default, click ok.
Restart the system.

And its done.
